General Liability

Coverage against accidents and injuries that occur on company property or a property of a customer. It also protects against product liabilities.

Commercial General Liability includes payments to an injured person or to an owner property that is damaged. These can cover medical expenses and the cost of defending lawsuits, including legal settlements or investigations. It may also cover libel, slander, copyright infringement and other personal and advertising injuries.

This is the most basic type of liability insurance.

Commercial General Liability policies exclude losses that can be covered under other types of policies, such as:
